FAQ

What can I expect during the physical therapy assessment?

Your assessment will begin by going through a detailed injury and health history; this takes approximately 20 minutes. We will then perform an objective examination of the injury site. Using information obtained in both the history and objective examination, we will be able to determine a diagnosis. We will provide education on your diagnosis, prognosis (outcome) and treatment plan that is tailored to you. If you agree with the plan, and time is permitting, we will start treatment on the first day. Please expect to be in the assessment for approximately 1 hour and come in active wear that allows you to move freely and visualize the affected body site.

Do you accept WCB and Motor Vehicle Collision claims?

We are no longer accepting WCB claims. We do accept Motor Vehicle Claims.

What is your payment policy?

We accept cash, debit, Mastercard and Visa payments. Payment is required following your assessment or treatment session. An outstanding balance must be cleared up before any additional booking is allowed. Note: we require a credit card on file to reserve any bookings.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require 1 business day/24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment.

For appointments scheduled on Mondays, or days after Statutory holidays, cancellations must be received prior to 12:00 pm the previous Friday to avoid the cancellation fee. Patients who provide less than 1 business day/24 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged the full treatment amount to the card on file.

Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the therapists' day that could have been filled by another patient. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.

Do I need a referral to attend physiotherapy?

Great news, you do not! We are primary healthcare providers, meaning you can access us directly without a referral. That said, some insurance companies still require referrals to allow claiming our services. If you are unsure, please contact your personal health insurance company and ask them what is required in preparation for your appointment with us.
